You and your righteousness

Your hope in mankind

You're so damn sure everything will be all right

How can you stand so tall on nothing?

How can you deceive yourself so well

That you think humans are worth saving?

I know what this life really brings

Violence and death and senseless things

Sometimes you wish the world was a game

So that's all the world is for me

You tell me that way I'm not alive

Well, lifeless I can't die inside
