I am sorry to say that I don't own Cats or Harry Potter or anything associated with that, except a few books and the movie but… yeah…
Memory
*Midnight*
She was alone in her Common Room
*Not a sound from the pavement*
It was a quiet night in the Gryffindor Tower
*has the moon lost her memory?*
She stared out at the full moon, her friends wouldn't be back for a while
*She is smiling alone*
The moon was the only thing in the sky
*In the lamplight
Withered leaves collected at my feet*
The leaves rustled past the window
*and the wind begins to moan*
She could have sworn she heard Remus' howl from far away
*Memory*
She sat back in her chair with her book, not really reading it
*All alone in the moonlight*
She wasn't going out with Sirius anymore
*I can smile at the old days*
Though she still smiled about it whenever she saw him
*I was beautiful then*
It was something different than with her relationship with James now
*I remember
The time I knew what happiness was*
That time was everything to her
*Let the memory live again*
Now it was just a memory
*Every street lamp
seems to beat*
Her heart beat fast whenever she thought of him
*a fatalistic warning*
There was something about the way her heart beat that told her she wasn't over him yet
*Someone mutters*
She remembered how close they were, he even told her secrets James didn't know
*And the street lamp gutters
and soon
it will be morning*
She saw the sky get lighter
*Daylight,*
The sun began to rise
*I must wait for the sunrise*
She waited for them to get back, knowing it wouldn't be long
*I must think of a new life*
She then remembered James and how much she loved him
*And I mustn't give in*
She didn't want Sirius to know she still cared for him
*When the dawn comes
Tonight will be a memory too*
She promised herself those feelings would stay inside
*And a new day will begin*
She heard the sound of three boys chattering away, and the sound of a groan from Remus.
*Burnt out ends of smoky days*
The morning was cold and she shivered as the portrait hole swung open
*The stale cold smell of morning*
She got the first whiff of morning scent
*The streetlamp dies,
another night is over*
Remus groaned again and slumped into a chair
*Another day is dawning*
The sun was fully risen now
*Touch me, it's so easy to leave me*
She smiled at them, Sirius smiled and waved
*All alone with the memory*
She could tell he wasn't thinking what she was
*Of my days in the sun*
She kept remembering her time in Sirius' life
*If you touch me*
She wanted him to hold her, do anything
*You'll understand what happiness is*
She still loved him
*Look, a new day has begun*
But she couldn't…
"Hey Lily!"
She snapped out of her daydream. It was Sirius, she then realized he had just turned her hair all rainbow colors and everyone was laughing at her. She frowned at him and then she smiled. When she didn't attack him he looked worried.
"Are you okay?"
"Yes," she smiled. "I'll be fine..."
OK, done ^_^ Hope you liked it
