The Tigers
By Cao Cao Chan
I hum a tune as I stand
On the cold, blood stained sand
A tune of pain of sadness and woe
Wondering how China got so
Cold
Painful
Decietful
And dark
Wondering what this will mark
The turn of an era?
A time of peace?
An emperor of kindness and good will
Who will not mindlessly kill
As I walk along the bay
I turn to my friend and say
"Will Sun Quan win or lose?"
To this my friend murmurs "He will choose"
I nod to Lu Xu and sigh
I know the battles will fly by
Our naval forces could win our wars
But then I think to the death scores
All the blood and tears
But with a sigh I ebb my war-torn fears
And play my tune for the world to hear, on my flute I play
A tune to mark this dark day
A song to warm the coldest hearts
To help those in the tougher parts
When I finish
All I can do
Is watch as the battle arises below the pale moon
The end
Yup, I just wrote this after posting my other one! YYC's review inspired me to do this one from the Wu point of view ( Zhou Yu)
Anyway review and tell me what you all think, should I do a Shu kingdom one? ^_~
