Looming Severus Snape
sweeps disdainfully by
and I cannot but gape
as his robes swirl and fly
while his frame smartly drape
from my daring eye.

And I know he'd decry
sigh that I let escape
every time he is nigh
and I try not to scrape
as I bashfully shy
at so stately a shape.

Though from far, on the sly
though, I'll always love Snape!
