Authors Note : I decided to do Boromir's yeah, under the advice of Risque
(also since the poem on Sam is too short and I've run out of things to
put). Just to let you know, this is before Boromir's death (obviously),
when he tries to persuade everyone to go to Minas Tirith, and eventually
tries to persuade Frodo to use the Ring. Okay so the title sucks, but I'm
kinda in a hurry here so I just put whatever came to my mind…So read and
review and ideas would be welcome too ! ^_^
Away from the Might of Gondor
Gondor, o Gondor,
How I miss your sunshine and rain !
Your mighty walls and fearless men,
O when shall I see thee again ?
For the world is dark and dreary,
But Gondor stands up tall.
Amidst the weak and weary,
The Fearless of them all !
But whence the recognition,
For our steadfast power and might ?
I travel on, in realization,
That my home, may vanquish from my sight.
My journey continues, further in steps,
My compulsion is weight down low.
Minas Tirith drifts further beyond,
Whence my happiness, away my woe !
I must stand up tall, in undying proud valour,
But doesn't all things come to end ?
But no, I must not let fear waver,
Nor let my steadfast heart bend.
But faced with decision, amongst others, am I.
Faced with tempts alone.
But why must this happen, I ask myself 'why' ?
Why can't some things begone ?
Author's note : Well, I hope this is satisfying enough… I only spent * checks watch *….twenty minutes on it and I might revise some parts when I'm in the mood to do so…. In the meantime, tell me your comments !
