The Kiss
Kathryn Janeway was having dinner in her quarters with Chakotay. They had eaten and were drinking some wine afterwards.
They sat on the couch talking and both suddenly noticed how close they were sitting. Chakotay made a move to back up but Janeway held him were he was. Her face moved towards his until they were just inches apart. She pulled his head down and kissed him.
They parted and all he could say was "Wow."
"I thought you might say something like that," she said with a mischievous smile.
They sat in silence for a while until he said, "I'm sorry Kathryn but I've got to go. I'll see you tomorrow." And with that he kissed her and left.
