Sequel to _other_ fic idea stolen from same book. Neither have names (hint hint).

Idea stolen from V.C. Andrews, the book was the first sequel to Dawn. I can't remember what it's called. *sweatdrop* Gomen. If you know, please tell me. I'll write you a fic! *patent ficlet, but anyhoo…*



"May I have this dance?"

Heero jumped at the sudden voice by his ear. He looked suspiciously at Relena, then at Duo, as if to ask his permission. Duo's eyes narrowed, appraising Relena, then he nodded.

Relena led Heero onto the dance floor, smiling as the band struck up a love song. After they had danced for a minute, Relena spoke.

"You know, I'm quite jealous of Duo. He's made the finest catch in the world."

Heero looked over her shoulder, where he could see Duo laughing with the other ex-pilots, his body language making it look like he was saying how scared he was. Smiling, Heero spoke his reply.

"It's the other way around, Relena. _I've_ made the finest catch in all the world."

Relena gaped at him a moment before smiling.

"I rather felt you would feel that way."

The music ended, as Heero kissed Relena's hand and walked off to a new life.
