Ten years since that weekend morn
Saw the Power Rangers and all their wacky cheese, corn
Five years since we saw In Space
Then blasted to Lost Galaxy, of the old cast there was no trace
Eight years since those three new guys
Came along and took up black, yellow, and red disguise
Yesterday
We saw the Wild Force
And it'll still be two days 'til they set their own course
Oh my god, remember Tommy
He did enthrall me
As Green Ranger he was too cute
His hair was long, he had his own big nifty song
Rita Repulssa made him bad, destroy the town with a dagger flute
Red Ranger with tyrannosaurus rex Zord
Destroyed the dark sword
Much more than five, six Rangers were just cool
Kim Hart had those mad flips
She was a gymnast
And of course was a cheerleader too
We're gonna make a show off about a dozen pre-filmed blows and you know the truth is it all came straight from Japan
Cut and paste is the order of the day when we say we gotta use this stuff that is already in the can
Tommy's green and then he's white and then he's red of course
And then in Turbo he leaves for the race course
I'm the kinda fan who laughs as the Puttie horde

Lookin' through a 'scope with the lights on
They get the plot on
But what about light pollution?
Like Austin St. John I'm getting schitzo
And I don't know
If I wanna do this show or not
Just like Voltron this is cheesy
But it's so easy
To get sucked in by the flash and whatnot
Start with five Zords, then they're one, and add two, put 'em together and you've got a nifty Ultrazord
That's how it goes when they are attacked by a toad and it turns out that they can't just do it with the sword
