Some person thinking up synonyms for hypnosis knew Duo. Take my word on this, I know them all. Most of them are the exact opposite of his vibrancy, but some fit--trance, dream, just the word hypnosis.

But I know for sure that someone knew him, because of the hypnotic vision that is Duo. Just watch the braid. It swings. If you watch the braid, you shall be entranced. You won't be able to pull your eyes away. But someone knew him. I know.

There's one word I love more than any other word in the whole mundane English language. It's all about him, as you can guess. And it's this one word that redeems the language.

Because it's Duo all over.

It's one of those words for hypnotism, one that sounds like something he would make up. And as I look at him, I have cause to wonder if the one who made it up did know him, was all too familiar with death. The part of the word that binds it to him is swinging behind him.
