Dear Journal (Kheldar),
You know, I hate you.
I love you.
Belar, Kheldar, do you irritate me at times!!
Today, you knew exactly how to bait me. We were standing there in one of those parties Ce 'Nedra likes to hold for the 'old group', and you talking to some old baron of Riva. That's right, my dear Kheldar, I was listening. And when he commented on me attributes (which I admit, I felt rather smug about), you just HAD to go and tell him about the whole Zith thing! I just want you to know, Kheldar, you carry on talking like that, I will begin to carry snakes around in my bodice, especially for you.
Then we'll see how much you like those midnight walks.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Silk, Silk, Silk, whatever am I going to do with you?
You do realize, of course, you were almost killed today? No, of course you don't. You ARE Prince Kheldar, after all. But, oh, Kheldar...
When I saw that arrow arc towards you, the first thing that flashed through my mind was that night in Mallorea, the night Ce 'Nedra watched as I began my perfectly planned seduction. My heart pounded in my chest; war drums beat in my ears, blood pounding through my temples. A strangled cry escaped my throat, and it was enough to warn you.
As you rolled out of harms way, my knees buckled, and I remember you running over. I couldn't stop touching your face; I had to make sure it was you, that you were still alive. Kheldar, you nearly killed me today.
Just remember, my dear Prince, if you ever went and died on me, I'd have to dig you up and kill you again.
Is that even possible?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WE'RE HAVING A BABY!
We finally did it! And it'll grow up to be just like his fath--- Oh, Gods Forbid what I was going to say. I can hardly wait until it's due, it's so cumbersome....But it's all worth it. I've gone over everything in my mind...He or she will be perfect, I know it. And they'll be a spy of course.
Oh little one, how do I love thee?
Let's just skip that one, shall we?
