Light of Darkness

The heavy panting of a man was heard over the pattering of rain on the roof he was under. He was dressed in pair of baggy black pants with a black tunic. Black boots that stopped midway up the calf, which the rest of his pants were tucked into, covered his feet. He looked to be in his early thirties.

"Good. I don't think he followed me." His voice was raspy as he growled the words out.

"Nice place you got here Zeif," a new voice said from seemingly nowhere.

The man, now known as Zeif, whirled around searching for the source of the voice. "Where are you!!" His voice was demanding and full, but his eyes betrayed the primal fear he felt. Suddenly he heard a whisper in his ear…

"Right behind you."

… before everything went black.

"I must admit, the way you stalked Zeif before you killed him was entertaining but, ultimately, unnecessary."

"Yes well, just killing him would have been boring," said a man that looked about 5'11". Looking closer, one could see that he was well muscled but still on the lean side. He was dressed in black slacks with a tight form fitting black shirt tucked into it, his shoes consisted of what looked like black Chinese sandals.

"If you're looking for entertainment then I have just the job for you."

"Oh really?" The man asked with what looked like anticipation.

"Yes, and this one is worth quite a lot as well."

"How much?"

"One-hundred million yen."

"Who's the employer?"

"Me."

The man in all black was startled by this statement as was accented by his facefault. "Why would you pay that much just to kill one man."

"Because he promised to have his son marry my daughter then he ran off with the drowy."

The man in black had finally collected himself fully and was looking at the man funny. "Well give me the description…"

He had been following them for years. The fat man known as Genma was slippery, always keeping one step ahead of him. It really annoyed him; he was going to enjoy killing the bastard.

The hunt was coming to an end though. He finally knew where Genma was going before he got there. He learned that he was heading to a training ground in China known as Jusenkyo.

He had reached the training grounds yesterday and it seemed that the information was correct as he saw to figures walking towards the springs on the horizon. To think that he will finally be able to kill the prey that had taken him four years to hunt was a magnificent feeling.

"Well Genma, it was fun…"
