Disclaimer: Ya, I think we all know that if I did own any characters (besides Waldo) they'd go on strike and probably chant "Save the Whale" before making there own Broadway Play which for some odd reason they'd perform in Los Vegas.

Note: This is a joke I heard but I turned it into a Lord of the Rings thing. (It also has nothing to do with The Fellowship of the Moms)

Aragorn looked at his mother, who was visiting his palace, before he said, "No mother, Legolas is just a friend." Aragorn explained.

"You know Aragorn you can tell me, I am your mother." Gilrean reminded him.

"I know, now don't say anything about this to him, he and the other guests will be here soon. And we're just friends." Aragorn said as he ran down a flight of stairs to check on the chef and the meal for the going away ceremony as the two would be traveling to Mirkwood.

During the dinner Gilrean watched the two's behaviour and knew her son had been lying to her. Anyone with two eyes could see the glances they gave one another. She excused herself to go to the powder room

A few weeks later Aragorn and Legolas were sitting around a fire in a field. Aragorn had noticed Legolas had grown a bit quiet. He asked his friend what was wrong and Legolas replied very carefully, "Well, I had sixteen arrows when I was at your home in Gondor and when we left I had fifteen. Now I'm not accusing your mother of taking them but she was the only one to get up the entire time."

"I trust your judgement," Aragorn said. "I'll send her a letter when we get to Mirkwood."

In Mirkwood Aragorn wrote the letter and sent it.

Dear Mother,

Now I'm not saying you did steal an arrow and I'm not saying

you didn't steal an arrow but Legolas is missing an arrow. You were

the only one to leave the table.

Signed,

Aragorn

A few weeks later a messenger arrived with a reply. Aragorn thanked the messenger with a copper coin and then broke the wax seal.

Dear Son,

Now I'm not saying you do sleep with men, and I'm not saying

you don't sleep with men but if your friend had been sleeping in his own

bed he would have found that arrow months ago.

Signed,

Your Mother
