Twenty-two years after the end of the war (AC 196), all hell broke loose again and the fight to regain 'true' peace has resumed.
As it had been twenty-two years previously, Relena Dorlian-Peacecraft has became the figurehead of peace talks between the space colonies and earth.
Tagging along this time though, will be her sixteen year-old daughter, Kaina. She was born April 15, AC 202(five years after Endless Waltz)
Two years later, Kaina's father, Ai Arumanshi, a Japanese diplomat, left Relena for another woman, leaving her as a single parent.
Relena has harboured her daughter a secret her whole life, due to the fact that even her own brother, Milliardo, never knew he had a niece, as he disapproved of Relena and Ai's relationship.
After Milliardo's death when Kaina was ten, Relena regretted never telling him at all.
Still, six years later, various groups are fighting over who will attain world peace first. Will it be Relena and her ideals of total pacifism? Or will it be Lord Daelin Lothar, head of a wealthy self-owned company.
Daelin has shown, in recent months, that he is becoming increasingly jealous of Relena's popularity with the people.
He is masterminding a plan to make Relena fall, and hard.
Being the highly intelligent person he is, he reckons targeting Kaina will the perfect way to spill his jealousy.
