Draco bit his lip as the dormitory stair creaked.
"Is this really a good idea?" he wondered, as he tiptoed as quietly as he could past the stone chairs in the common room. He swung the portrait hole open, and heard it shut loudly. He cringed. "What an idiot I am," he thought, having doubts again.
It had all started that morning, when he had received a mysterious message from some stupid mystery admirer, asking him to meet them up in the Astronomy Tower at 1:30. Draco would never have normally done it, but he had a massive crush on someone, and he was hoping that they would be the one waiting. He turned the corner, and started to ascend the steep stairs.
At 1:27, Draco arrived, puffing and panting at the top of the Astronomy Tower. He clutched at a stitch in his side; he wasn't as fit as he used to be. He glanced up, and then froze. Slowly looking up again, he stared at the person smirking at him. It was...
