Jade Green Depths
Looking into the eyes of the blonde man
He sees sparks of emotion deep in their jade green depths.
He trembles with fear as he realizes what those emotions will entail.
He will soon be slammed to the concrete floor,
left to watch the man's retreating back through half lidded eyes.
It all comes so soon that he is left dazed and bleeding.
He wonders what has happened in the few seconds he has blacked out.
Opening his eyes he sees a figure off in the distance, running from some sort of trouble.
But he will never remember his attacker's face,
as he closes his eyes and forgets his own name.
Forgotten and alone, he trembles.
