Through the Eyes of Lovers

synopsis: happens when Tamahome decides to try and get Yui back for Miaka. Thoughts from Tamahome and Miaka.
Tamahome:
The time is late and the moon's light shines upon me as I look over to my one true love. She is laying there sleeping . I wonder what is going through her head. Probably something food related. We have fought so hard to get this far. I often pass by moments of time just watching her. I can't help myself. So many times I have wanted to touch her, and not in just a friendly way. It is forbidden I know, but I can see it in her eyes too. She has gone through so much already that I couldn't see her be put through anymore. I have not yet told her what I have decided to do, but in my heart I know that when I am able to return we will be together once again. Luckily all I have to do is convince her friend to come back with me. This is the only way. I must go. I will write something for her to see when she awakes.
Miaka:
YUIIIII!!! NOO!!.....eh? Oh..I must have been dreaming. Wait a minute..Tamahome??..Tamahome!? Oh no..he didn't..
I can't help the tears that start running down my face. I know where he went, but my mind only wants to deny it. He has gone with those men and will try and get Yui back for me. Oh Tamahome..why? You didn't have to yet I know you did for my sake. I look over at the empty space beside me in my bed, and then over at the table. My notebook is open with some writing in it. Three words are written. Wo Ai Ni. I Love You. My eyes fill up with more unimaginable tears as I sink to the floor crying.
