____GENERAL SUMMERY____
The night after the failed wedding (end of manga), Ranma and Akane fall into a deep sleep. When they wake up, Ranma finds himself back on the path to Jusenkyou with his father, two years younger and without his curse or the speed and strength he gained from all the fighting, but with the skills and techniques he learned; Akane finds that she is two years younger herself, her hair is long again, and her diary's latest entry shows that she is in the month before she met Ranma. However, she still knows everything about training that she learned from watching Ranma. Both realize that the entire of the two "years" they knew each other was actually just one single dream. However, they also discover that the techniques they used or saw used in the dream actually work in the 'real world'!
Taking advantage of his sudden foreknowledge, Ranma gets Genma to skip Jusenkyou. They do find the Amazon village, but before the Tournament. Ranma gains 'training' (Kachu Tenshin Amaguriken and Hiryuu Shoten Ha) from Cologne after 'convincing' her that it's in her best interest, so he can use the Amazon techniques without getting in trouble. Mousse dislikes Ranma, but that's because Shampoo has taken a liking to him; however, Ranma is careful and avoids being 'engaged' to Shampoo, so Mousse is angry, not furious (Cologne, however, IS furious; somehow this outsider boy knows WAY too much about her tribe). Ranma and Genma leave just before the Tournament, heading for Japan and the Tendo Dojo.
Akane starts making use of all the training techniques she saw used in her dream, and radically ups her training regimen. Soun and Kasumi don't notice, but Nabiki does, and she also notices how Akane is not plowing through the "Hentai Brigade" with brute force every morning, but is much more controlled. And she even acting different, more mature; a far cry from the spoiled brat Nabiki is used to dealing with. Kuno notices too.
A month passes. Ranma rapidly increases his strength/speed and relearns the Moko Takabisha, while Akane manages to reach Shampoo's level (from the end of the manga), but knows the 'Chestnut Fist' too (not very good at it though). Then the Saotome-Tendo meeting takes place. Akane is stunned to see Ranma without his curse, but tries to subtly catch his attention. Ranma notices, and realizes that this isn't the Akane he was expecting. While Genma and Soun are reminiscing, Akane invites Ranma up to the dojo for a sparring match. The match takes place, and both of them realize that the other is far better than they were supposed to be at this time. They share their 'dreams' and agree to try and make things work out better "this" time...
[And so the series begins... again! This time around, things will be VERY different; Ranma is FAR better at the Art, and so is Akane; both rapidly strengthen their ki/chi using what they know from their dreams; and because Ranma will be training his fiancŽe actively, Akane will get ALMOST, but not quite, as good as Ranma. Everyone from the manga and anime shows up at the appointed times, and some new people too; after all, with Ranma and Akane being so much more powerful, they WILL attract bigger and badder challengers.]
