Scream 4 Trailer: Capitalizing on the Success (a.k.a. Let's Make Some More $!)

Fade up to Randy walking along the sidewalk with one male and one female friend(JO)

RANDY: Sometimes after a quality trilogy, there is an equally horrible fourth installment, not originally planned. It's simple. The studio decides to try to make some extra bucks with what they think will be an easy hit, capitalizing on their prior success.

CUT TO: shot of girl running from camera, trips and falls. Camera zooms in on face.

GIRL: (softly) He's back...

CUT BACK TO RANDY SCENE

JO: Well, at least I'm not at risk. I wasn't even involved in the other murders.

RANDY: That makes you even more at risk! A fourth installment of a horror film never includes any of the original characters because the actors are too smart to be involved in such a flop. Well... most of them anyway... (grins sheepishly) Some that were previously killed off may mysteriously return to try for some of the dough they missed by not being included in the complete trilogy.

CUT TO: GALE WEATHERS look-alike reporter stepping over police tape in front of a camera

REPORTER: This is Blair Bancroft, reporting live from the Asheville Apartment Complex, where a teenage girl was brutally murdered by an unknown killer last night.

CUT BACK TO RANDY SCENE

RANDY: Expect the unexpected. The premise of this killer's murders will be so incredibly stupid. He'll stop at nothing, and there will be many times when he gets away when anybody except those in the move could have caught him. (At this point, GHOSTFACE comes up behind the group and listens to the group for a bit before darting off. Sound fades down and CG mist comes over the screen.)

Quick shots of knives and victims.

Scream Ghostface logo fades up with the title SCREAM 4.

VOICE OF MOVIE GUY THAT IS SOMEHOW IN ALL PREVIEWS: It's not over yet. Not until you Scream...
