The Elves and The Hobbits

The hobbits of the shire and the elves of Rivendell
Keeping the distance that may come to pass
The journey of the ring
forced these two together

With out the military skills of Legolas
And the sword of Frodo
The journey would have ended
In a way that would have been unthinkable

The hobbit "crew" kept the journey cheery
While knowing that it was no laughing matter
The days of pain came all to soon
And separated the fellowship
Of which had gone so far
