NOTE: I do not own Star Wars, etc. This is a bit over the top and totally unrealistic but I kinda like it. Anyway please R/R! Thanks.

Moonlight

Padme stretched out on the blanket Obi-Wan had laid out for her. "Thank you, Master Kenobi"

Obi-Wan laid down his own blanket next to Padme's and sat down, "Your welcome Senator."

Padme grinned, "You can cut with the formalities, Obi-Wan. We've known each other too long for that."

"That is true." Obi-Wan replied. They had known each other for a long time. And they had a connection. A special closeness to Qui-Gon that could not be ignored.

Padme smiled, "Has my husband been a good Padawan?"

Obi-Wan laughed, "Would you scold him if I told you no?"

"Probably." Padme said, giggling. Only Obi-Wan could make her giggle like a schoolgirl. She shivered. It was very late.

Obi-Wan took off his top cloak and placed it over her shoulders. Padme felt brush down her back. She closed her eyes and tried to fight it. She stared at the moon. It was full. She turned to the Jedi Master and found her mouth only inches from his. She brushed her lips against his.

Obi-Wan leaned farther in and kissed her passionately. Padme melted beneath his kiss. God he was a good kisser. Obi-Wan wrapped his arms around her pulled her on top of him.

Padme kissed him over and over again. She never wanted to stop. The rolled over onto the grass and Padme felt him kissing her forehead, her hair. The blood pounded in her ears. "Padme-" Obi-Wan whispered.

"Don't stop," Padme whispered pulling him back down. "Don't ever stop."

Padme awoke to the sound of birds and the chirps of little bugs. And the bright sun. She felt something tickling her face. Obi-Wan's beard. OBI- WAN!? Padme jumped back and stared down at the sleeping man. Oh gods.

Obi-Wan's eyes fluttered and he found himself staring into the beautiful face of his Padawan's wife. He's eyes popped out and he jumped up. "Padme!?"

Padme clamped her hands over her mouth. "OH god. Oh god. OH GOD." She cried. The pair jumped up and through on the clothes.

And just in time as Anakin came up over the hills, "There you are!" I have been looking for you two for a long time." Anakin stared at the blankets and their rumpled clothes, "Were you guys out here all night?"

Padme cleared her throat and exchanged a guilty look with Obi-Wan, "Not too long. We had a long talk about…um… war."

"Oh." Anakin said. "Well breakfast is served." He laced his arm through his wife's, "Come on."

***

Padme sat brushing her long hair. She had summoned Obi-Wan to her chambers. He stood there unsure of what to say. Padme put the brush down and turned to the Jedi Master, "Obi-Wan. I don't regret what happened last night."

Obi-Wan's shocked look told Padme he had expected something else, "I don't either. But Padme-"

She shook her head at him, "I'm an adulterous wife now and you know what? I don't care. I love Anakin. I always will. But now… Now I'm unsure of what I TRULY want."

Obi-Wan nodded. He understood, "I know what you mean. I never allowed myself to let anything like that happen and now…" He let his words fade. "Well I have some things to do."

"We will never tell Anakin," Padme said.

"Agreed." Obi-Wan replied. And turned to leave.

"Obi-Wan?" Padme called. The Jedi Master turned. Padme cleared her throat, "I really enjoyed our moonlight talk."

Obi-Wan smiled, "So did I. So did I." And he turned and left her sitting there. Her emotions swimming.
