1 Part three continued…
Obi-Wan and Anakin hurried over to the small clearing on the edge of town. They had both felt the twins' arrival and felt the anger surging from Luke. They arrived to see them battling. Luke was forcing blow after blow and Leia, while she was doing everything in her power to protect herself. It was easy to tell that she was becoming tired and was out of practice.
Obi-Wan and Anakin forced all their concentration to pull the lightsabers way from them but neither of them would budge. Obi-Wan was just about to jump in and stop the fighting when two people skidded up to them. It was a man and a redhead. Suddenly Leia back flipped away from Luke just in time to dodge a hit but not in time to miss his blow to her stomach.
Leia slumped to the ground and Obi-Wan heard the newcomer scream, "Leia!"
Han rushed up to her and skidded on his knees as he stopped next to her. "Leia?" He whispered.
"Han?" She whispered. She had gone as pale as a ghost.
"Yes, Leia its me."
"Han, I-I," she couldn't finish her sentence.
Anakin watched fearfully as Leia began to slip away. No this couldn't be happening. No. No. No. His mind screamed over and over.
Obi-Wan knelt next to Leia. "Leia we'll get you some help."
Leia wanted to shake her head, "No. Its too-too late."
"No, Leia I am not about to let you die! You're not dying do you here me?"
Luke watched all of this. He had killed her. His sister was dying because of him.
Han kissed her forehead, "Leia, I love you."
Leia didn't answer as she sucked in her last breath.
"NOOOOOOOO!!!!!" Luke cried as he sunk to his knees.
"You bastard! You killed her!" Han said, jumping up and beginning to fly at Luke before an arm stopped him.
"Don't," Obi-Wan's voice commanded, "It'll only make this worse."
Anakin wasn't hearing any of this as he knelt next to his daughter's silent body. Only it wasn't silent. He placed two fingers on her neck. She still had a pulse. Anakin looked up at Obi-Wan, "She's not dead."
"What?" Obi-Wan asked, confused.
"She still has a pulse."
Bria, who had remained silent through all of this, spoke up, "There's a woman in the village who may be able to help.
Han looked at her as if he'd suddenly remembered Bria's presence. "Lets go, then."

Several hours had past. The Death Star was destroyed. Leia's friends, Biggs, Wedge, Winter, Bail, and Mon Mothma, had joined them. Bria had left the previous hour to find some peace in the nature. Her father was still pacing. Her aunt and uncle were on their way.
Han looked up as a curtain shuffled and the old woman came back out. Han's voice sounded tried, even to him, "How is she?"
Several pairs of eyes looked at the woman intently. The old woman cleared her throat, "She is very weak and I don't know if this will even work. I've managed to repair all her internal damage and replace several of the melted organs. However she has lost a lot of blood and she needs an immediate blood transfusion."
"I'll give it all if I have to," Luke spoke up.
The old woman looked away, "That's the problem. She's going to need it all."
"So basically its one child or the other?" Obi-Wan cried out.
"I'm afraid so."
Han shook his head, "There are how many of us in here? We can all donate a little, if we have the right type that is."
Anakin shook his head, "Won't work."
"Why?"
"They've inherited from their mother's mother a blood dysfunction."
The older woman nodded, "Extremely rare."
Han shook his head in frustration, "Isn't there something we can do?"
The old woman shook her head, "Her brother can only give so much blood."
Luke stepped forward, "I told you. I will give it all."
Obi-Wan squeezed Luke's arm, "And what if it doesn't work? Do you want your father to lose all his children in one day?"
"Unless you can find me several pints of negative HC blood with a chromosome disorder I suggest you all go in and say your final good-byes."
Luke was nearly going crazy, "Look please tell me there is something I can do!"
The woman shook her head, "I don't have the necessary equipment needed."
Remembering the medical supplies he was smuggling Han asked, "What kind of supplies?"
She laid out the list for him and Han nearly began doing cartwheels, "I have most of it."
Winter doubled over in shock, "What?"
Han nodded, "I probably shouldn't mention this right now but I'm a smuggler. I was smuggling these for, um…, some Hutts."
Obi-Wan didn't seem surprised, "I thought you looked familiar."
Han gave a small, offended, huff, "Can you make do with most of it?"
"I can try, but no guarantees," the woman said.
"Well what are we waiting for?" Bails asked, standing up, "lead the way."
