ZOIDS Chaotic Century: Enter Disguisor
Van is in the middle of a battle in the desert. Over 5000 RevRaptors, led by Raven in his Genosaurer, are attacking. The Blade Liger is shutting down fast. It can't move, and Zeke was just ejected. Then, two strange Ligers appear on the battlefield. They are attacking over and over, and a beam hits Zeke that makes him able to go into the Blade Liger again. Van is hit with a charge particle gun, and he faints. The last thing he sees before going out is the silhouette of Fiona kneeling down, and two strange people standing behind her.
When Van wakes up, he sees he's in a big bed. He runs out and goes up a few flights of stairs. He sees two people he doesn't know and Fiona drinking tea and talking. Zeke is curled up by the fire. One man is laughing, the other seems very grim. The laughing one sees Van and motions him over. He gives Van some tea and cake and Van sits down.
" My name is Sigma Iota, at your service Van." Sigma said.
" And I am Disguisor. You can stay here. For now." Disguisor, the grim one, says.
" Van, I bet you didn't know you've been asleep for a day or two. I also bet you can't guess why we helped you, besides we are pretty nice." Sigma said.
" I'm drawing a blank here. Why?" Van asks.
" Fiona. I never thought another one of us survived, but I saw her, and found out she was a Zoidian. But apparently her powers aren't as far as they should at her physical age. I mean, sure, I am physically older and technically, but really. I had my powers when I was physically fifteen! And girls usually gain their powers faster than guys. Maybe training will solve it. Hmmm…" Disguisor trailed off.
" He does that often. Oh. The Blade Liger is in the hanger. It's only two levels up. And use the elevator this time." Sigma said.
" Got it." Van replied.
In the hanger, Van sees many ZOIDS, and finds his Blade Liger. A tiny cat like ZOID scares him and sees it looks like an Organoid almost. It gets closer and act like a cat does when it's hungry, rubbing up against him, purring. A bird like one shakes it's head and fly around the hanger. One with tank treads is fighting in a simulator. Van goes back into the elevator and sees a button with an X on it. He presses it and sees a giant red door when he leaves the elevator. Disguisor comes out of the shadows.
" Why are you here, Van?" He asks with a sneer.
" I just wanted to see what was down here." Van replied.
" Well, leave. This hanger is off limits to anyone but me, my Organoids or Sigma. Leave. These ZOIDS shall not be seen by you, yet. Possibly Fiona, but not you, Van. Not until I can trust you." Disguisor says grimly, " Now go back to level five. Dinner is almost ready."
After dinner, Disguisor and Sigma are talking in private, but Van's trying to listen through the door.
" I believe that we can tell them."
" No. It might shock them. If Fiona is to find out she is… was… the sister of Vector, or dearly departed friend, she might freak. And what if the reincarnation technology worked and my little brother came back as Van, well, I might freak as well as he. Now, I believe we can let them stay for a while, and then we send them off with suplys, and maybe some training. That is all!" Disguisor was saying all of this.
