Day's parting.

Goodbye. Thank you for everything.

All the things we've been through,

All the smiles we've given,

It's time to go our separate ways.

We're finally done, you know?

Please don't forget me,

It would be too sad.

She turned to leave.

He grabbed her arm.

You do realize I care for you don't you?

He growled.

She took his hand, placed it to her cheek.

We'll meet again someday. But it can't be today.

She turned and jumped into the darkness.

The portal closed. She was alone in a well.

Crawling out, dusty air fluttered.

She was crying.

It's finally over. It was bound to happen.

There was a man at the gate.

He still looked the same.
