After working with Hermione for a few weeks the Party was back in the labyrinth. She had joined Harry's team to make them even. So far both teams had run into more golems and large rats. There had been a few rooms that needed puzzles or riddles to be solved, and a few rooms that had guardians to defeat. Hermione was proving herself wonderfully as she had a lot of knowledge and had trained herself hard to be ready.
"Harry, place that blue block into the left far corner. Luna the red one needs to go into the slot on the right side midway down!" Hermione was looking over the puzzle lock they had to open. So far, each block was a different color and needed to go into the right spot. She had figured out the first few easily and was finding the rest with a little work and looking at the overall pattern. It only took a few more minutes to get the last block into place and the door opened.
"Good job! Hermione, we got it!" Harry smiled as the doors opened and they stepped in. the first thing they did was look over the room and make sure that there was nothing inside waiting to attack them. Then it was the looking for treasures. Hermione found a very interesting book on enchanting that she thought would be useful as she read it.
"Harry, I think this might be what we are looking for to answer the ring problem!" Harry came over and looked at the book and saw what she had been talking about.
Making enchanted objects can be difficult but once one is made you can make more of them easily as long as you have the materials and the original item. The following spells will allow you to make more of any enchanted item…..
Harry read more then smiled. "Well, it does seem to be what we are looking for and will help make more of the rings for everyone." He then made copies of the book and gave one to each while sending the book to the shared inventory and a message to the other team about it.
"We will still need to get some information from the rings but there are a few spells here that will help with that, and I think we will have everything needed to make another set of them." Hermione was really happy as she was getting really good at making magical items but having to make each one was time consuming so that book should help her a lot.
They had found more books and scrolls as well a few blank golems that they could use on the island. As they made their way though the room Luna had spotted a few hidden spots. George had also found some hidden items. As they left the room Harry had noticed that the labyrinth seemed to be getting more difficult. The last few halls and rooms had more traps and golems as well and they had been walking through a lot more challenging area.
"I wonder if we are getting closer to the end. It seems like it too me!" He looked at the others to find them nodding.
"I think we are, the maps you have made so far show that we are getting closer to something, and it seems as if both paths are going to meet up together soon as well!" Hermione had made a larger map out of the smaller ones that Harry, and Neville had been making so far.
"Well, if that is the case then the last part is going to interesting as we don't know what will be in place or what we are going to be facing!" George was looking over the wall as the walked as he was keeping an eye out of anything hidden.
"It might be a good idea to keep up communication with the other team as well to make sure we don't miss anything and see if the others find anything we will need to know!" Blaise was also keeping his eyes open for anything that might be hidden.
Susan pulled out the communication mirror and started to chat with Hanna.
"Yah, we noticed it too, Neville thinks that we might be getting to the end as well. This had been really interesting so far. We did find a set of numbers the was hidden on the wall but so far nothing else!" they all heard Hanna talking.
"Send us a copy of the numbers and we will send over a copy of anything we find to you as well." Harry called out.
It wasn't long after that the George found a set of symbols on a pillar that had been hidden. Luna, Padma, Hermione, Tracy, and Daphne were looking over both numbers and symbols as they kept moving.

Dumbledore was close to tearing out his hair and beard as the pranks kept coming at him and he still had no clue who was doing it. He knew it wasn't any of the students, but it was driving him batty.
The last prank involved his hair changing colors to match his mood or if he was going to say something he did not mean. It was something like a mood ring he had heard muggleborn's talking about. it was also acting like a lie detector as when he tried to lie to McGonagall his hair turned neon yellow with black lines in it that spelled out lie and liar.
He had fled as soon as it had been pointed out to him and he had no idea how to stop it. He was also trying to keep Lockhart in the castle as he had heard a few rumors about the man being investigated. So far, he had not been able to pinpoint who or why but he was worried.
Dumbledore had no idea that the other teaches were the ones to help with getting Lockhart out of the castle. They did not like the man and Flickwick had found him chatting up one of the 7th years in a way he was not supposed to as a teacher. After alerting the others to what he had seen all of the teachers where keeping a closer eye on things and had reported what they had found out so far to the DMLE.
Lockhart himself had been trying to figure out what happened to the love potions he had put in the drinks of the female students but had no idea that Aurora had told the elves of the castle to keep the potions out and not let anyone add anything to the food or drinks of the students.
Many of the older girls had seen the way Lockhart had been eying them and after seeing what he was really like made sure to tell the younger years to stay away from him and not be alone with him.

Neville looked around the room they had just cleared. The door's lock had been tricky and it took all of them working together to open it but the room had been full of treasure chest. Some of them had been filled with gold and gems but a few had been monsters that they learned where called Mimic's. Boy had Fred freaked out when the chest he was about to open tried to take a bite out of him. The others laughed at his girly shriek. But they also had trouble with the tricky monsters as they did not know which chest where mimic until, they tried to open one. Luna had made a request to capture one of them and Neville and Fred had managed to do so and locking the thing in a slightly larger chest and called Aurora to come and get it.
When finding out what they had caught Aurora had laughed and told them she would set it up for Luna.
"I don't know what that girl plans to do with it but, I'm betting it's going to be either funny or scary!" with that parting shot she was gone, and Neville and the others shivered at the thought.
"I don't want to know and at the same time I do want to know!" Fred looked over the others and saw they where all nodding.
"Ok, let's forget the scary idea of Luna with a pet Mimic and try to get though the last of this area!" Neville was hoping to forget soon but knew he was never going to get the idea out of his head.
With that the team looked over the room for anything else and hidden items before resting for a bit. The book that Hermione had found was being devoured by all of them as they all liked the idea of being able to make more of the rings and other magical items that they find but can't make themselves.
Harry had already planned to get all of the materials ready and gave a copy of the book to Aurora when she came to get the mimic. Both teams got to the last area of the path they had taken and found both teams blocked by large double doors both sets of doors had writing on them that mentioned that what was beyond was the last obstacle of the labyrinth and that they should be ready.
"It looks like the numbers and symbols we all found are they key to the doors but I think we should come back later and do this part as we should all be ready and I hope for all of us to have the rings on. We should also have as many traps and tricks we can make ready just in case!" Harry was looking over the doors and had a feeling that this was going to be a big fight for them.
"I agree! We should make sure we are ready and maybe work on our stats some more as well before we go for it. I also want too see if I can make all of us better wands to use and see if we can make some better armor for all of us, if this is going to be a big as I think!" Neville was also looking at the doors on his end. The had made rubbings of the writing and all of the etching on the doors to study before they try to open them.
All of the other agreed and they all made their way back to the last resting place and got ready to leave the labyrinth. after getting back to the ROR everyone got to work on any homework they had left as well as work on other things like upping their stats or skills.
"Ok, so we will work on our skills and stats for the next few weeks and see if we can make or get better gear for the last part of the dungeon." Harry smiled as he finished off his homework. "I also want to see if there is anything else we can get and have some fun with as well. I think a prank against the whole school would be fun, something funny that everyone can laugh at might be good!" here Harry looked at the twins and saw them smiling devilishly.
"You might be right Harry, we need to have fun as well, and something like a school wide prank might be fun for all of us!" Padma giggle at the shocked look she was getting from Hermione. "If we do it as something funny for all and not something harmful then I'm all for it!" Hermione sighed as she realized that Padma was right.
"As long as we don't do something that hurts others it could be fun." Hermione was now thinking of something that would be fun for all of the students.
"Well, we have time to think of something and plan it out!" Daphne smiled and laughed at the twins who where now together and going over many of their plans and tricks. Everyone laughed at them as they now had approval for the Party leader to prank people.
"Don't forget to get your homework done you two!" Tracy called at the pair. This caused the two to start their work so that the others wouldn't call them on it.

"I don't know what that girl is going to do with a mimic but I cant wait to see!" Aurora was laughing her head off at the antics of Sirius and Remus as they had seen the mimic in its treasure chest form and tired to open it. Both had screamed like little girls and ran away. She had then gotten it into a trunk space that was set up for Luna to use to house the monster.
Both men and begged and bribed her to not tell the others about what happened but Aurora was still considering telling the others and showing them the memory.
"Now let's see that book Harry gave to me!" she pulled it out an went to the outdoor patio to read. She was impressed, but could see why they would need her to make more of the rings as it was going to take a lot of power and she would have to do a deep reading of the rings to make more. Rings like the ones that Harry and the original party wear are old and complicated.
'I know I can do this, but I'm only going to get to do it once. After that they will need to be able to do it for themselves' Aurora smiled as she knew that the kids would be able to pull this off once they had some more time to work and more power.

The Party was in the ROR, most were working on homework or if they were finished with that, they were looking over the books and scrolls that they had gotten from the dungeon. Harry was going over the picture's and rubbing they had of the doors, both sets. Neville was also going over them. The others would look over them from time to time with Hermione spending more going over the info then the others.
"I think there is some mention of the school motto on both sets of doors!" Hermione was looking over one of the books they had gotten from the last room. "I also found some mention of the golems that are used in the labyrinth. It seems that smaller golems are easier to make and keep going with magic as they need less fine tuning." Here she held up one of the picture's they had taken.
"This points to the motto and that beyond the doors is something relating to that!" she looked back over the book.
"Does the book tell what kind of golems they had in the labyrinth?" Luna was looking over her selection of books as she asked.
"Yes, there seems to be a list of sorts. Most of the golems where human based. These are the ones we found and fought the most. There are a few that were based on animals, but they did not place them as defenses, those are the ones we found and have set aside for our own use." She looked at the list. "It's this last part that I found that is most interesting something about 3 large golems that where made and placed, 2 of them together as a puzzle for getting into one of the rooms, that last is mentioned as the final test for the ones going through the labyrinth."
"I take it they did not give any details about what the last one was?" Blaise remembered the 2 golems that they defeated so far.
"Not really, like I said there is mention of the motto on the doors and we all know what the motto is!" here Hermione sighed.
"Don't tickle a sleeping, Dragon!" was the response from all of them.
"However, there is a chance that a dragon golem might not be fully functioning after so long. We did see a few of the golems not working properly, they stumbled as they walked!" she smiled at Harry and the others at this.
"Yah, it did seem the 2 large ones we faced where slower than they should have been, but at the time we where thrilled to have been able to beat them." Blaise laughed at George; he had made a face at remembering that!
"So, we plan for a dragon golem and hope that it is not working right, but we will still work on making as many plans and items as possible, I don't really want to take the chance of failing now that we have gotten this far!" Harry looked over the others.
"We also need to keep our eyes out while we are in the school, I think Dumbles is getting desperate to find the prankster. I also think Ron is getting mad at the fact that Harry basicaly stopped being his friend and he really is trying to get back into his good graces, or cause the rest of us trouble." Neville shook his head and sighed.
Here they all sighed as Ron had been causing trouble since school started. So far, he had not been able to do much, but it had not stopped him yet.
"Well, we will just have to be ready and keep up our schoolwork, as long as we do that the teachers wont have anything to complain about, and we can make it clear to them that Ron is causing us trouble, they might say something to him and helps us to keep him away." Luna just smiled as she was looking over her books, the others nodded and smiled at her.
With that they all got back to work. There was going to be a lot to do before they tackled the last part of the labyrinth and they wanted to be ready.

Ginny had no idea how she was going to get Harry's attention. So far, he seemed to not want to have anything to do with her or her brother. The twins could still chat with him but not Ron. Her mother had promised she would marry Harry one day.
"Why wont he see me?" she looked around the empty classroom before pulling out a small book. "Maybe Tom will have some advice for me. He has been the only one who talks to me so far."
So far, her time in Slytherin has been kind of lonely. The older students wont talk to her when she asks about Harry, well other then to tell her to shut up. Or when Draco insults both her and Harry. Though Draco also seems to have lost a lot of clout in the snake pit. He keeps mentioning his father and Blaise, Daphne, and Tracy have all made it clear that they will not let him tell them what to do. Or that his father can make them or their family's do what he wants. But the three of them come from families that have more clout and money than him, so it makes no sense to the others.
As for talking with others in her own year, none of them really chat with her as they don't like how the only thing, she wants to talk about is Harry Potter.
Draco was roaming around the halls. So far, he had no idea what to do, his godfather was gone from the castle, and he had no help from their head of house. He was also aware that the rest of the Slytherin's where not following his lead anymore. The Trio of snakes as Blaise, Daphne, and Tracy where called kept him form gaining back his title of Prince of Slytherin. They were now the power in the snake pit.
"I need to find a way to make Potter and his group look bad, something worthy of a Slytherin!" he looked at the 2 following him Crabbe and Goyle but knew they would not be able to help him.
It was as he walked over to a staircase that he was covered with pudding and feathers. This was followed by mad cackling and Peeves shooting down the hall.
"Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Slimy snake covered in food and feathers!"
It was then that he heard a camera going off and the scampering of feet going in the other direction. Draco never saw who got that picture but he was going to find out hopefully before anyone else saw it.
"Get back here, you mangy ghost!" the yell drew the attention of some of the other students and they all started to laugh at him. Draco stomped off back to the common room. This was when he was found by Filch!
"What do you think you are doing messing up the halls like that, come here you filthy little brat! We are going to your head of house right now!" Filch grabbed the boy by his sleeve and pulled him along, all the while complaining about students making more work for him and not paying attention to Draco complaining about Peeves.

During classes that week, Harry had noticed that Ron did indeed try to get him, Neville, and Hermione in trouble. But as planned they had told the teachers what Ron had been doing, and Percy had found Ron trying to bully others into doing his work for him. This had led to Ron getting detention and many of the teachers making it clear that he had better do his own work and that they would be making sure he is not just copying others work.
Fred and Gorge had found out about the picture that a first year had gotten of Draco and manage to get a copy of it to show the others.
The Party decided to keep working on their skills, and the twins had set up with Aurora's help arches to their hideout they had gotten during the summer. The did do small dungeon runs as they wanted to make sure they where ready for the last part of the labyrinth.
"Ok you lot I have gone over the book you sent to me and I do believe I can make more of the rings. However, I will only make enough for the newer members to have one ring!" Aurora smiled. "After that you will just have to get stronger later to make more of your own!"
Harry placed 7 gold rings and a selection of stones on a table for her, he also took of his own ring and handed it over for Aurora to use to work with. After she closed here eyes Aurora and the ring she was going to copy glowed with a rainbow of colors. With her eyes closed Aurora placed her empty hand over the table and let her magic flow over the rings and stones. The gems picked was a onyx, agate, amber, beryl, chrysoberyl, freshwater pearl, and spinel. After the rings where made each one was chosen by one of the newer party members.
Aurora smiled as she sat down and took up a cup of tea that was given to her by Luna.
"Well now you are all on even footing. So, when do you think you will finish the labyrinth?"
Harry looked over to her and smiled. "We plan to keep working on our skills for a while then near Halloween we plan to finish it!" the others nodded.
"That is a good plan as I don't think its going to be easy! Better to be ready for anything!" she saluted with her tea cup.
"Right now we are also working on making better gear and armor as well as a few surprises we can use!" Neville smiled as he looked over his plans for better wands and a bow for Luna.
"And the rest of us will need to practice with our new rings to make sure we can handle them before we try a major fight like what we think is going to happen!" Blaise was looking over his onyx ring.
The others nodded to that and started to plan out their training. Luna just smiled and worked on her arrows, she wanted to make the smoke bomb's lighter so as not to interfere with her aim.
"We also want to get a school wide prank planned out; I was thinking of doing one that is inspired from a Disney movie!" Hermione blushed as everyone looked at her. She then pulled out the movie in question and everyone smiled at what they saw.
"Are we going for edible plates and cups or something else?" Daphne was smiling. Harry had asked to go see many movies and the one Hermione choses was one they all went to see.
"I was thinking of the drink that Charlie and his grandpa tried but with out danger." The smile she gave them was priceless.
"We could add something as well just to make it more fun and make sure that none of the boys can look up the girls' skirts." Tracy just laughed at Padma's suggestion.
"Well, we might as we get started with what we are planning!" Harry laughed as they all got to work. Aurora also laughed as she left, planning on getting a few cameras for them to use so that pictures could be made of the prank.

It was a few weeks later on a Saturday everyone was down for breakfast when small bottles appeared next to each plate. The label stated Fizzy Lifting Drink! In scrawling letters. Many of the muggleborn laughed and pick up the bottle. It was one of the Hufflepuff 7th years that drank his down and started to lift into the air. Once he cleared the table his clothing changed into a super hero out fit with a cape that billowed out behind him.
That caused every other muggleborn to down their own drink and join him in the air, soon all of the other students where drinking, and then floating up all of their clothing changing as they went. Everyone had fun as the teachers looked on in shock.
Flickwick found a bottle next his plate and smiled as he drank it down and joined his students. There was a cheer for them as he floated up to join them and flew around in his own hero outfit.
"Filius, what are you doing?" McGonagall shouted up to him.
"Joining my students and keeping an eye on them from up here!" he called back
Many of the students got the hang of flying around and managed to fly low enough to grab bread rolls from the tables. All of the students were in the air laughing even the purebloods. The only one not happy with his outfit was Draco, for some reason it was pink and had puffy shoulders.
After half an hour all of the students slowly lowered to the ground and landed. Their clothing retuning to normal. After Filius landed as he was the last, letters appeared in the air with sparkles.

The letter changed colors a few times before fading away. Every student cheered and clapped as they had a lot of fun flying around.
"Well that was a interesting breakfast yes!" Dumbledore clapped and smiled his eyes twinkling. He tried to see if he could find out who the prankster was but had no luck.
Everyone went back to their food chatting and laughing about how much fun that had been, all of the muggleborn's were telling the friends who did not know where that came from about the Disney movie. The purebloods where wondering what inspired that and for those with no experience with muggle things what a movie was. That lead to them getting a crash-course in movies in general.
The Party all smiled and secretly toasted each other on a prank well done.

Sirius and Remus smiled as they looked over the photos of the Party's first prank. The house elves had taken a lot of pictures as Aurora had given out a few cameras and made sure that had a lot of film. The two Marauder's had developed the film and made enough pictures to post around the school. Hanna had sent a request to also have sets of the pictures sent to each house as there had been an elf for each hose table.
"We will need to send them a congratulation letter for a job well done and thought out!" Remus smiled as he looked over the pictures.
"Yes, and see if they need any ideas for future pranks! Sirius was laughing he had spotted each of the Party in their hero outfit and laughed more at the poses that had taken while in the air.
"It looks like even Malfoy had fun, but I don't think he liked the color of his outfit!" Remus shook his head as he set that picture down.
"What do you think? Did they do good?" Aurora smiled at the two as she came over and started to look over the pictures herself.
"Oh, yes they did a wonderful job!" Remus smiled at her. "I think they had a lot of fun with it too. I also cant wait to see what else they might do!"
All three laughed and made more copies of the pictures to send to the school.
They also planned to take the kids to see more movies during the breaks and summer to give then even more ideas to use. They knew the kids would want to work on their skills but they also needed to have fun too.

Dumbledore was happy that he was not the target of a prank but at the same time was not happy that the prank for the students was fun and harmless while he has had to suffer. So far their had been no new pranks on him but he did not know how long that will last. He had wanted to grab one of the bottles to test the potion that had been used but they had all disappeared before he could.
There had also been no trace of how the clothing change had been done or how all of the bottles had gotten onto the tables. He was also mad that it was Flickwick who had gotten to fly around, he wanted to try and get his reputation back up with the students but so far had no luck.
Minerva had laughed at the sour look on his face after breakfast, when all Filius had said was that it was fun, no mention on how the potion tasted or smelled.
He had just turned the corner to get to his office when he noticed a lot of photos decorating the walls. All of them of him in various poses during the pranks that had been done to him. He was furious and tried to banish them but they did not disappear. He tried many times with no luck then he heard chuckling behind him and saw serval students they ran off before he could do or say anything. With a huff he went to his office. It was soon known to all of the students that there were pictures of the headmaster during the pranks against him and many came to see them. All the students laughed when it was found that if they touched one of the photos a copy was made and they could take them. It didn't take long before many students had evidence of the pranks done to Dumbledore.
Even the Party had come by and gotten copies to keep, and they all laughed when they realized that Aurora was going to be doing this a lot.
The heads of houses had also come by the hall and tired to remove the photos but also had no luck. That didn't stop them from getting copies of the ones they liked best and hiding them in their pockets. Even the house elves had come and gotten copies for the kitchens.
Another section of wall, this time near the DADA classroom also had photos plastered all over it. This time the subject was Lockhart and all of the things that had been done to him. The students found that they could get copies as well and many did.

The Party was in the ROR working on their plans when Hedwig came flying in through an opening made for her.
"Hey Hedwig, have you been having fun with Aurora and the others?" Harry rubbed her breast once she landed on his shoulder.
{Yes! My Harry, Aurora has asked me to help prank Lockhart! I get to bring mice to his rooms and leave them in his bed and clothing!} here she gave what sounded like laughter.
Harry laughed himself while Neville and Luna told the others what she had said. This caused them to laugh as well.
"I think we should see if any of the other pets in the castle would like to help with Lockhart as well, I saw a few of the cats hiss at him a few times he came close to their People!" Luna had a look of mischief on her face.
"Oh, that would be so funny, as they can get to places, we can't, and he would never suspect anything!" Fred smiled as he looked at his twin and started planning. That had the others planning as well knowing that the castle was full of cats and owls that might like the chance to have some fun at the fop's expense.
Hedwig left Harry's shoulder and flew over to a perch that had been set up for her. She too was planning as she knew the other owls would love to help prank the fop. Not even his own owl really liked him.
It was later, as they walked over to the great hall for lunch that Harry ended showing off his ability to talk to animal's.
"This kitten is mine I got him from my mother just before school started!" it was on of the new first years and there was a couple of third years around her. She was holding a small gray kitten with drake grey strips.
"I don't think so that cat is mine so hand it over!" the third-year raven stated.
"Hey, I think I can help if you like!" Harry called and walked over.
"What do you mean, back off the kid just needs to give me the cat.
Harry ignored the Ravenclaw and looked to the cat before asking.
{Which of the kids is your human little one?} the other kids looked at Harry like he was weird before the kitten started to mew.
{My human is the one holding me the other has been following me and some of the other cats and trying to grab us, but we keep away as much as we can! Also, the other has 3 cats already!}
"Well according to the kitten, the firsty is her owner and you!" here Harry looked to the third year. "Already have 3 cats so I don't know why you are trying to take this one!"
The third year stepped back as no one but her friends knew she already had three cats.
"I don't know what you are talking about, and what was with that meowing?" she looked kind of freaked out.
"I found out that I am a Beast speaker! So, I was talking to the kitten in its own language!" Harry looked the third year over.
Before anything else could happen Professor's Flickwick and McGonagall came over as they had heard the whole thing.
"That is an impressive talent to have Mr. Potter and easy to prove!" Flickwick had seen that his raven was going to say something. The professor gave a short whistle and a few seconds later a horned owl flew in.
"Mr. Potter, if you could ask my owl here his name and how long he has been with me that would help prove what you have clamed!"
Harry smiled and then had a chat with the owl in question. Harry hooting was interesting to hear as everyone came around to find out what was going on.
{So, my friend your human wants me to ask your name and how long you have been with him?} Harry had tilted his head.
{Ah, young one my name is Merlin, not my fist choice but better than his first two attempts at naming me as for how ling we have been partnered for 2 years now!} the owl had bobbed his head a few times.
