Playing Matchmaker

Chapter 1
Lizzie McGuire, Miranda Sanchez and David "Gordo" Gordon were sitting at their usual lunch table with their lunches.
Miranda- "So, how'd you think you did on the math test?"
Lizzie- "I probably failed. I mean algebra is so hard!"
Miranda- "Yea I know what you mean. When are we gonna use this in life anyway?"
Gordo- "Come on guys, its not that hard."
Lizzie- "Easy for you to say."
Miranda- "Yea I know. You probably got an A."
Miranda was smiling. She had always had a crush on Gordo. He was very smart and cute. No one knew about this crush except for Lizzie, and she never did anything to try to get between the two.
Gordo- "Earth to Miranda." Gordo was waving his hand in front of her face.
Miranda- "Huh. Oh. What were you saying?" Miranda had come back to reality.
Gordo- " I was explaining what we use algebra in life for and when. Anyways what were you thinking? It seemed like you were a million miles away."
Miranda- "Um...." Miranda didn't know what to say.
Lizzie- "She was probably thinking about Ethan Croft. After all he is one of the cutest guys in our school." Lizzie had saved Miranda. She knew exactly what she was thinking about.
The bell rang. They all went to class. Lizzie, Miranda and Gordo all had History next.

While the teacher was giving the lesson on the American Revolution, Miranda passed Lizzie a note. It read:
"Thanks for saving me Liz. I don't what I'd say if you didn't save me. – Miranda"
Lizzie read the note and replied back.
"You were lucky this time. But Miranda you gotta tell him. You never know, he might feel the same way. – Lizzie"
Miranda's note read:
"This is Gordo were talking about. We've been best friends for a long time. It'll just be too weird. – Miranda"
As the bell rung Lizzie quickly read the note and stuffed it in her pocket. Little did she know, as she left the classroom the note fell out of her pocket. Someone picked it up.
