I cannot believe no one has written much Kia/Jedda stuff, they're so freakin' cute! Well this is my perception of what was said between them after the war was over. Its really short, hope y'all like it ^_^

Oh Ty, I loved you. I really did. But it was for the wrong reasons. It was because you were a part of my past, the only part of my childhood I could keep for myself. It's not like…not like….this.

Kia stood on the precipice of a cliff, the blood washed from her body and her new clothes flapping in the breeze. The war was over now. Takami was dead. Macaan was dead. They had saved Kirin Taq and the Dominions from impending doom. A smile crept across her lips. None of that was the reason for her happy mood, none of that at all. It was plausible to think that she would be happy even if the world had come to an end.
For she was in love.
She felt Jedda come up behind her before she could even hear his footsteps. He wrapped his arms around her waist and breathed in the soft smell of her hair. It felt so good to finally hold her. She relaxed into him, resting her hands on his atop her bellybutton. He smelled like the sandy earth that she controlled, she smelled like a desert assortment of flowers.
"We won."
She smiled. "Yes."
He tilted her head so her green eyes would meet his. "I'm glad we survived."
Turning, she arranged her body so that they were now facing each other. "Why's that?"
"So I could do this." He leaned down and kissed her, pulling her against his chest and holding her tight. She was not as surprised as others would have been. Eagerly returning the kiss, she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him further down into it. It was different than it had been with Ty. It finally felt right to her.
It was some time before they finally ended it, both of them gasping for breath as they continued holding each other.
"I love you, Kia," he whispered.
She rested her head against his shoulder and snuggled into him. "I know. I love you too." And they kissed again as the moon rose above them.

I'm sorry, Ty. You'll always have a place in my heart. But I love him…for the right reasons.
