I took the pill. That single pilll that would change my destiny forever. I looked at my prom picture with Shannon. I wore a midnight blue strapless dress, that night I'd given myself to him. I've never forgotten that night. I shook my head and got under the covers. I closed my eyes, floating into a dark abiss.
The next thing I knew, I was surrounded by white light. Everything shined brightly around me. I wore a bright white dress, and my hair was tied up like it was on prom night. I stood up and walked forward. I looked around, and there he was, Shannon. He held his hand out to me, and I took it.
"Just like it use to be..."He whispered in my ear, holding me tight.
A smile crossed my face. I was at peace with myself. It felt as if it were the right thing to do...
