My Faithful Servant
He sat down and stared at the figure in front of him. Ah, this should be promising. His most trusted servant.
" I have gone over the reports. I must commend you. You truly are amazing." Knives said, folding his hands and leaning into a slightly Gendo*- esque pose. The subject made a small noise, but Knives ignored it. Instead, he continued.
"My only complaint is that all your reports are so short it's hard to make sense of them. However, what little you have provided us has been the best information we've received."
A nod, and green eyes peered back at cold blue ones, neither one blinking.
The lower being finally looked away and Knives' face broke out in a superior smile.
"I will give you your new assignment. Vash is in L.R. Town. I want you to follow him and keep tabs on him."
Blink.
"You do understand, right?"
A nod.
"Good."
A moment of silence, then:
"I must ask. Are you male or female?" A toothy grin was his answer. A sweatdrop formed on Knives' head. That grin was probably the most frightening thing he'd ever seen. It just wasn't natural. Neither were those insanely huge eyes…
"You're excused now."
The creature jumped from the chair and padded its way to the door. There, it stopped and turned back to Knives.
"Nyah."
Then it was gone.
*Gendo- You know, that guy from Evangelion, Shinji's dad. I don't like him much, but that pose is so awesome! ^_^.
~Okay! I have two people to thank for this fic. First is my Senpai, Madison. It was her theory that Kuroneko~sama was a spy for Knives. Next I have to think Akima the Stampede Maxwel. She's the one who encouraged me to write this. Thanx you guys!
