Raoul looked into Christine's teary eyes and tried his best to reassure her. "Of course, whatever it is you want cherie, it's yours."

Christine looked up at her husband then down at the baby swaddled in her arms. "Take him to Erik. I want him to know the beauty of music, Erik will teach him," she said kissing the child's forehead. "Please Raoul…do this for me."

"Christine, you know I would do anything for you, but what you ask is murder for our son! Why not have him grow up with me? I can take him to the operas and give him private lessons…." He trailed off. "I would do anything else for you, but I am not giving my son to that madman!"

She sighed, she felt so weak, there wasn't much time left. "Raoul, I don't have the time to argue with you. Please, it is what I want, no one can teach our son music better than Erik. Please Raoul…" she begged her voice dropping off as she closed her eyes.

Raoul sighed taken the baby from her limp form. "Alright Christine, I will give our baby to Erik to raise, but I am going to keep a close eye on your Angel of Music. If he ever raises a hand on our child, our promise is broken," he said leaning over. "I love you Christine, be at peace now my love."
