You can love all the cards of Clow
"Give me the cards!" the new comer, Li Syaoran, demanded. "You are not worth it!"
"Never!" cried the card mistress. "You'll never get them unless you love all the cards of Clow!"
She opened her mouth to sing.
"You think that I'm an ignorant card captor
And you've done so much training
I guess it must be so
But still I cannot see
if the ignorant one is me
Now can there be so much you don't know? You don't know."
Syaoran snorted and laughed. "Freak."
"You think you own whatever card you capture
The card is just a dead thing you can claim
But I know each and every card of Clow Reed's
Has a life, has a spirit, has a name."
"That's crap."
Sakura looked indignant.
"You think the only people who are people
are the people who are in your clan
But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger
You'll learn things you never knew, you never knew."
"Sure . . . whatever."
"Have you ever heard the song card sing to Yue's moon
or asked the angry Fiery why he's mad?
Can you sing with all the voices of the song card?
Can you love all the cards of Clow?
Can you love all the cards of Clow?"
"I'm supposed to love pieces of paper?"
"Come run the hidden odd trails of the maze card
Come taste the yummy snacks of the Sweet
Come roll in all the beauty of the Clow cards
And for once, never wonder about power."
"Power is the only thing important."
"The rainy and the cloudy are my brothers
the windy and the watery are my friends
And we are all connected to each other
In a circle, in a hoop that never ends."
"You're connected huh?"
"How high will the Wood card grow?
If you hinder it, you will never know!"
"I guess . . ."
"And you'll never hear the song card sing to Yue's moon
For wether we are in your Clan or not.
We need to sing with all the voices of the song card
We need to love all the cards of Clow.
You can own the cards and still
all you'll own are cards until
You can love all the cards of Clow!"
"Sakura," the chinese warrior said with awe, "you're right. We have to love all the cards of Clow."
"That we do," Sakura agreed. "Love all the cards of Clow."
"Thank you Sakura," Syaoran said and kissed her passionately. After he left Sakura dazed, he lifted his pants to reveal two ruby shoes. "There is no place like home," he cried and clicked his heels three times. Immediately, he disappeared.
"Love the cards of Clow, Li Syaoran," Sakura whispered and went back to living normally . . . with a couple of Clow Cards to bother her.
A/N: That was amazingly freaky. I don't know what came over me. Don't worry, my fanfics are never like this. I just lost my mind . . .
Disclaimer: I don't own anything. The song was originally "Colors of the Wind" from Pocahontas before I destroyed it.
Sorry to all Syaoran and Sakura lovers. I found the song and couldn't help it.
Ciao!
