Now that we were lovers,

We thought we'd tell the others.

But we were so nervous,

What if they deserted us?

Looking in their eyes,

We told them our surprise,

Turned out they'd already guessed,

And then filled in the rest.

Then I began to lose my cool,

How would we tell the kids at school?

You said we didn't have to,

We could just stay in the group.

Still, people started to notice,

And they began to avoid us.

But we stayed together,

And vowed that they'd never

Break us apart,

We were in tune with each other's heart.
