Escape from Pain

We were supposed to stay together,

Be a couple for more than forever.

But then you ran away,

I thought I'd die that day.

My heart is broken in two,

What the hell did I do?

Running to my room,

I sought to seal my doom,

I stole my father's gun,

And looked just once more at the sun.

I brought it up to my head,

One small move and I'd be dead.

I think that I needed to die,

There is nothing for me without you and I.

Your name is my death cry,

As I pull the trigger in the blink of an eye.

Goodbye.
