Disclaimers: Joss Whedon owns everything having to do with Buffy, but I own the thoughts and inspiration behind this poem.
I just thought this up and it's only sorta based upon the show, but I changed it so Buffy actually likes saving lives unlike how it seems most of the time she would rather just be "normal" and also she's not so egotistic. So please R/R.

My life used to be boring
But now I'm overjoyed
Every week I
Save the world.

I'm not a superhero
I'm just a girl
That loves the world she lives in
And fights with everything she can.

I met some people who cared
And some who didn't give a damn
But I am not the only one
Who lifts her fist
To pave the way to justice.

I may only be a girl
But I think I've proved my point
That sometimes a girl can win
Even when the odds are
Completely against her.

I have my faith
I have my confidence
Someday that won't be enough
But until then I'll continue
To defend the innocent.
