Pokemon: The Times after
One Week:
Ash set there on the floor of his room staring up at the trophy case while holding a picture of him and Misty in his lap. He wasn't even aware when he started crying remembering when he got the call from her sisters that Misty had killed herself.
He began to sob more when he thought of the note she had left that said everyone would forget about her in time. He got up angrily and threw the picture in his hand into the glass trophy case and watched silently as it fell to the ground in pieces. He picked up the orange leaque trophy the first one he'd ever won and threw it as hard as he could out his window he just didn't see the point of them his best friend was dead and she thought he'd get over it.
One month later:
"Don't worry Mrs. Ketchum we are sure we can help your son threw his depression." The Doctor assured her looking past her to the boy who set impassively in the waiting room of the hospital.
The woman in front of him nodded. "I hope so since Misty killed herself he has hardly eaten and never leaves his room." She closed her eyes to fight back the tears. "I'm afraid to leave him alone anymore afraid he might try to join her."
"I'm sure we can reach Ash with Therepy and if that fails there are allways medicinal treatments we can try." He said hitting the intercom on his desk and asking for two orderlies to come show Ash to his room.
Ms. Ketchum watched her son walk out with them impassively hardly even seeming to care where he was.
One year later:
"It's okay Delia Ash will get better eventually." Brock said as he set with her at a cafe for lunch one day. "I mean I know he'll never forget Misty but he has to go on living at some point."
"I don't know Brock it's like they both died that day but Ash is still here." She said fighting a sob. "Last time I was there I noticed his hair's starting to turn Gray." She rubbed her temples with her hands. "He's only Twenty two Brock the only way his hair shouldn't be turning gray."
Five years later:
Brock sighed as he got off the phone. He couldn't belive Ash was back in the hospital again he'd only gotten out from his last visit a month ago the space between them was getting worse. He glanced at a photo of the three of them form thier travels when they were younger. He just couldn't understand why Ash couldn't get over it. He knew Ash blamed himself he even blamed himself aswell but he had managed to move on with his life even though he'd miss Misty for the rest of his life.
Ash however couldn't but then Ash had been closer to Misty while they would both talk to him ocaisonally they confided in each other the most especeally after he came back from his time with Dr. Ivy. He knew Ash considered Misty family and he was also sure Ash would never get over it.
Ten years later:
Brock stood standing by the grave stone. Ash was dead he hadn't killed himself atleast not how misty had but Brock was sure Ash had grieved himself to death. It was obvious the last time he had gone to see him that Ash had given up on life. His hair was totally white and he was practically a walkign skeleton the doctors were talking about hospitilizing him again to get his wieght back up.
Then a few days ago he'd got the call that Ash had died in his sleep.
The End.
I just needed to write this. Some people may claim I had Ash take the reaction to far and if you feel that way I'll explain why. Because that's how I would react I'm not the most stable emotionally and loosing a friend would really rip me apart inside. I don't think I could ever recover from it.
