The human set Curdy down on the counter near a large white box. The human opened the box and Curdy felt chillness in the air. Curdy thought to himself, "The human is distracted so I must try to escape. I can never return back to Pantry. The human will try to make a dress out of me again. I must leave this… room." He looked around. The human was looking through the box. Curdy found that he was high off the ground but he jumped off anyway and landed with a thud. "Ouch," said Curdy. He got up and looked around again. Curdy saw an open door and he began to head for it. Just then, the human closed the box and came back to where Curdy was sitting. "I was sure I put the cheese here," said the human. The human began to search around the counter. Curdy tried to run to the door but he was not very athletic and couldn't go very fast. The human was still looking around when Curdy slipped inside the new room.

The room had a floor made of concrete and it was slightly cold. There was a big metal object that was larger than a human in front of Curdy. It was standing still, so Curdy did not pay much attention to it. At the end of the room, there was a very large door with light coming through and there appeared to be trees and grass on the outside too. Curdy thought, "That has to be the way out of this place." Curdy was approaching the door, walking alongside the metal object when he heard a "vroom" sound.
