This is only my second attempt at a Moulin Rouge fanfic so soz If its not very good!!

In the cold streets of Montmartre things were just the same as normal Christian a young poet was sat in his small room which was his home decided that he would keep his promise to Satine (a beautiful courtesan) and write their story he got out his typewriter which he hadn't used for over a year and brushed off the dust and cobwebs that were forming on it and started typing. The thoughts of his one and only love went through his head and it made his heart ache just to think about her but he had to keep his promise to Satine so he typed it up right from the beginning from the day he arrived in Montmartre to the day he first went to the Moulin Rouge and when he first set eyes on Satine and about their secret song 'Come what may' to the day she disappeared. His heart still hadn't mended and was still desperately trying to recover from the day the duke had driven her to run away. How he wished she were still with him today.

How could he ever love again? she was the only women for him and she loved him. They had even written a song together meaning that whenever they were apart if they sang it then it would mean they love one another. He finished typing the last word of their story and he could just imagine Satine in his head and what she'd be saying and how happy they'd be.

Christian had decided that as soon as he had finished writing he would travel around Paris in search of a publisher to publish 'Come What May' (for Satine wherever you are) which is what he had decided to call his book. He looked around his room for his hat and coat looked out of the window one more time at the Moulin Rouge and set off in search of a publisher.

Now Christian hadn't been traveling very long when he came across a small bookshop by Notre Dame cathedral he entered, meaning to ask the owner if she knew of any publishers. The women who had long red hair was sat with her back to the door, the women was humming to herself and Christian noticed the tune it was His and Satines song 'come what may' but how could she know the tune after all it was their song. He whispered Satine is that you and the women turned round and immediately he saw her the women he had loved Satine it was her his heart was filled with warmth and for the first time in ages his face broke into a smile she got up slowly and then ran toward him they held each other in their arms for ages after all nothing was going to keep them apart They were back together and nothing would tears them away from each other.

A few months later Satine and Christian decided to buy the Moulin Rouge and reopen it as their theatre where Christian would write plays and Satine and the others who used to live there would perform them nothing could tear them apart ever again they were together for ever.

THE END
