So I stood there and watched the people who were cheering at me and thought 'well, im gonna die now.' but then the judge walked up to me and was like 'so why did you kill him?' and i said 'well, he was there and i was there and i had a gun and i just didnt like him much. and im really really sorry. i didnt mean for anyone to get hurt. i guess i got kind of carried away'.

the judge looked at me and laughed and patted me on the back. i didnt know what to think. then the judge says 'well, it sounds like youve learned your lesson. youre really smart and philosophical and probably a good man and we shouldnt kill you because the death penalty is wrong. now go find that fiance of yours and give her a kiss'. I looked around and Marie was right there and that made me really happy, what that she would want to watch me die and all.

'thanks!' i said. 'now would some body undo these handcuffs?'

the judge laughed and some big guard took off myhand cuffs and I ran to Marie and gave her a kiss and she asked if i loved her and i said 'yes.' like i should have the first time, and then we walked off and got a house and had a dog we didnt beat and lived happily ever after.
