Author's Foreword

It's been so long since I've last been here. I've been gone for a year, maybe, give or take. ^_^ Still don't know who I am? Oh well, I might as well give you something to ponder about, no?

Just for the record, I am now known as …

… Bunny. Yay! Hm … uninteresting as it is, I've left for awhile and come back with a new name altogether! Online and in real life. How about that?

Moving on –

This story, if you haven't guessed already, is based on vampires. I've noticed that the idea has been overused and is seemingly becoming monotonous, but I feel that dark fics are the way to go. It's a habit I've obtained since I first arrived at fanfiction.net.

But anyway, this is basically about the supernatural. And, it's an AU (Alternate Universe) fic, obviously. I don't need to explain that.

Warnings? Oh, I've got tons of that. Before you go and try to read the first chapter, I should tell you that this story does have very unusual pairings that I doubt have ever been tried before, save several. And some of you may not like the idea either. My stomach turned a little as I was in the process of thinking about it, but then I decided that it would even out due to the fact I'm writing a fic that has a plot that's used excessively.

Um … let's see, oh yes. Graphic descriptions. I've never tried that before but let's step to a new plateau, shall we? When I say 'graphic descriptions' – you know what I mean. If not, 'graphic descriptions' are based on pretty cruel bloodshed and the occasional sex.

My reason?

I try to catch up to whatever fics I've missed while I was gone and, mind you, that's a WHOLE lot. Now, I've seen er … rather disturbing fics that do gyrate around enhancing visuals. So, I'm giving a shot at it. I'm not guaranteeing a 100% that mine will be better, but all I can say is that I'm trying. We on the same page so far?

Good.

Lastly (this doesn't necessarily apply to all of you but …) if some of you are offended by the fact that Aerith isn't so innocent, don't read. Please. Save me the hassle of bitching you to death if you bother to flame me. I've had enough of those basically. Now don't get me wrong, I love the girl but some people are so selective about things that it's beginning to tick me off.

So, to sum up most of what I've said, if you understand what 'gore' and 'sex' is and you don't like it, LEAVE!
