~THIEVING GODDESS~
My first TAMORA PIERCE fanfic! My second one ever, in the whole entire universe!?!
'Kay, here's the gist.
Lienna is a 'common thief', with no none relatives and no idea who the hell her parents were! Anyways, Lienna is pretty decent at this robbing thing and refuses point blanc to work for the rogue! Oh, my GOD!!!!
So, our little thief, Lienna ends up discovering a secret which no-one is supposed to know. Somewhere out there, there is a piece of jewelry with extraordinary magical powers, ones which would REALLY benefit a thief, if you get my drift. So Lienna decides to go find it, never mind the fact that it is protected by some seriously gifted, sneaky SOB's, 'scuse my language. So she goes, she finds, she escapes. Only know she has something in her possession that unlocks the key to her past (well her none-existant parents' past anyway), and is so powerful that the King, Queen, master mages everywhere and even the King of the Court of the Rogues all agree it should be locked back up, and team up against Lienna. So Lienna is running away from, basically, everyone and no-one knows what she looks like, or who she is, except the fact that she is female, a thief and has a eagle tattoo on her hip (all will be explained later).
So basically it's a pretty average story, with all the necessary elements you need for a good one; a goddess masquerading as something she isn't, a thief, and, yes, a forbidden jewel involved in a wild goose chase. Want to read more, wait for the next chapter.
