CHAPTER 1: 7th Year

"James Potter you had better get back here" Lily half-laughed half-yelled at her best friend.

"No can so Tiger" James called over his shoulder as he ran down one of the Hogwarts' corridors.

"Miss Evans, Mr Potter, Professor Dumbledore would like to see you in his office" Professor McGonagall said, "And please stop running."

"Yes Professor" They chorused.

"Really head boy and girl running down the halls" she muttered walking off.

"Really head boy and girl running down the halls" Lily mimicked giggling "You'd think she didn't want us being head girls."

"Yea……..HEY! I resent that!" James cried.

Lily just grinned and bolted for Dumbledore's office. James just rolled his eyes and ran after her.

"Mr Potter you've decided to join us" Lily said as he entered the headmaster's office.

"Shut it Lils" James said sitting down on the chair next to Lily's.

"Ah….your both here! Good, good" Dumbledore "I called you two her so we can organise the Christmas Ball."

"I've got a few ideas professor" Lily said.

"Well let hear `em" Dumbledore smiled.

"Ok………Well I say we have a all time first Karaoke/masquerade ball" Lily said.

"A what?" James asked with a puzzled look on his face.

"Well Karaoke is a muggle term ok! All around the muggle world there are karaoke clubs! You go to these and the audience sings!" Lily explained.

"Oh"

"Well?" Lily looked at the expectantly.

"I think it's a good idea! What about you professor?" James asked.

"I like it. Any others?" Professor Dumbledore asked?

Lily and James looked at each other and shook their heads "Not from what I can think of Professor" Lily said.

"Very well then. You may go" Professor Dumbledore smiled "Have a good day."

"Bye Professor" Lily and James chorused and ran out of the office.
