The Death of the X-men
the twelve sat in Apocalypses strange holding bubbles.
their powers were being absorbed.
*this has to be stopped* Charles Xavier thought.
then he used what power he had left to opne a psi-link with the other twelve.
_anybody have any idea how we can stop this?_ he asked them.
_maybe we could stop him if you, Jean and Cable took over his mind?_ Cyclops asked.
_maybe, but that should only be what we try if there is nothing else to do._ Xavier said.
_i am afraid there is nothing else to do old friend._ Magneto said.
_then we'll have to do it, porffesor._ Jean said.
_yes, unfotunatly that is right._
Xavier, Jean and Cable united their psi-powers and went to take over apocalypses mind.
unfortunatly he had already begun transfering his mind into Nate Greys body.
and the power feed continued. then suddenly apocalypse fell down onto the floor.
the bubbles around the twelve faded. the x-men, Sunfire and Magneto went to battle Apocalypse while Monolith just ran away.
the fighters found Apocalypse dead on the floor and Nate Grey hanging in the holders.
the X-Men took Nate with them back to the mansion.
the days went by.
the X-Men did what they usually do.
then right after X-Man had recovered after a battle when he had been injured Beast found something unusual in his tests.
"this is strange. this shouldnt be possible."
he went to the proffesor.
"what are you saying beast?"
"it would appear that Nates genes have somehow been changed. the consequences of this are unknown."
"what tests have you run so far?"
"only a blood nd DNA test so far. but i'd like to do a power test in the Danger room."
"Well, arrange it. i will be there in a moment."
15 minutes later.
"this is amazing. i've never seen so high energy levels before."
X-Man was facing a over a dozen Sentinels.
he took care of four by ripping them to shred using telekinesis.
then he burnt one to slagg using plasma. and another was taken care of by massive lightning.one was encased in ice. another one was teleported away. he destroyed one with an optic blast. two fired at him and he absorbed it and shoot it back destroying them.
he grew to the size of a sentinel and ripped it apart with his hands.
and the last he took care of with an electro magnetic blast.
then his eyes started glowing and he clothes started to change.
"whats happening?" Xavier asked Beast.
"i dont really know proffesor. but it would seem that his appearance is changing." the he got a look os understandment and surprise on his face.
"to look more like those he took the powers from." he said now in fear, for the being who previusly was Nate Grey alias X-Man had grown and was breaking thru the re-inforced glass to the controll room.
"i cant stop him." Xaver said after trying to use his powers on the being.
"who are you?" Beast asked.
"i am Power." the being said and grabbed them in his big fist.
the next day an Avengers quinjet arrived after they had picked up a huge demonstration of powers.
they saw a being standing in the rubble of what was previusly the X- mansion.
"who are you and what are you doing here?" Captain America demanded to know.
"i am Power." Power said and threw Captain America aside.
"halt thine march creature." Thor said and threw his hammer at Power, who simply cought it in his hand.
"interesting weapon though useless against me." he said and threw the hammer back, taking the thundergod out.
a few minutes later what had happened to the X-Men had also happened to many of the Avengers.
