Sometimes I wonder
What would happen
If that day was altered

Would it have ended up the same?

And all this
continues to corrupt me
The silent scream that
Only touched deaf ears
It echoes through the throes of my mind
Forever driving me insane
But there's nothing I can do

On this distraught plain

When I learned quite painfully that
Life isn't just a dream
It's reality
I began to think
If we put all this behind us
