I want to be the Wind

Prologue
… Rikku has become a radiant woman. Although that, every year, she visits Auron in the
Farplane, whispering things to him she could say when he was 'alive'. Today, like everyday, she
has visited him since she was sixteen. Every year, up to today.

Rikku stood before the Farplane's entrance. She touched it with the tip of her finger, and
saw ripples form from the spot. "Creepy," Rikku said to herself. She took a deep breath and
went through the liquidity substance. Rikku was now 25 years old. It had been at least 05
years since she's seen Yuna and the others. Somewhat a very long time for her. Yuna would
be…26, Wakka would be 36, Lulu would be 31, and Auron was still around, he'd be 39. But you
do not age in the Farplane, so he'd still be 34.
Otherwise today, she was
visiting Auron's ghost today. She did every year, leading up to today. Rikku had secretly loved
him. Although knowing that would never be reality. She walked silently, her green eyes fixed
upon the usual spot she called to him. She stopped, and closed her eyes. Rikku thought of him,
and opened her eyes to find nothing. 'W-what is this?' Rikku asked herself. 'He always 'shows up'
when I call to him. But why not now?' Rikku thought harder,
but the same result came. 'This means then…he's alive!!'
Rikku ran through the gooey substance in a flash, thinking of where he could possibly be.
She blushed at the thought because he'd heard every word that she's said how she felt
about him. Rikku somehow didn't care about that right now. Apparently, she'd have to tell
him one way or another, so it didn't really matter. She sighed relentlessly. Spira was a large
world, and finding one man who was always traveling would be hard. Nonetheless, she
promised herself that she would find him.
Once Rikku had gotten on her ship, she phoned Yuna. ''Yuna!'' Rikku said excitedly. Yuna
rubbed her ear. "Yes, Rikku?'' She asked. Rikku started to talk babble about this and that.
''Rikku? Say a little slowly please.'' ''What I'm tryin' to say is, AURON'S ALIVE!!!!" Yuna was
silent for awhile. ''How can that be? I sent him 9 years ago, remember?'' Rikku took a
breath. ''Well, when I was visiting him in the Farplane, he didn't show up. You know that when
you think of the person, the pyreflies instantly make an image of that person, right. So in
which, he didn't, so HE'S ALIVE."
Yuna thought for a moment. "How about I go to the Farplane with you tomorrow? Then I can
see as well." Rikku breathed into the receiver. "Alright, see you tomorrow then. Oh, but
don't tell. You know how word can spread all over Spira." "Alright, bye then." "Bye,"
Well then? How was the first chapter? Hope you like it! ^x^ I'll be writing more soon!!
Don't mind the gaps within the sentences because I'd thought it would be neater for you to
read and you won't get mixed up.
