A Poem to Douglas Adams
By
Nesia Xavier Voldermort
We don't know Douglas Adams, but we love him,
His legacy though his life was cut slim.
I wish he hadn't died,
If I were there to plea with death I would have tried.
He and his work are immortal though he's dead,
As long as he's always they're in our head.
He's let us see things we've never done,
Like visit The Restaurant at the End of the Universe then almost fly into the sun.
There's Marvin, Arthur, Zaphod, and Trillian,
Also Slartibarfast, Dirk Gently, and a whole other million.
Even though that now's he's dead ,
Maybe Death could of taken a character instead.
