"It's great that Masen and you're dating now. I always see this coming," My mother said to me on the phone.

"Hmmm..." I said.

"You both are perfect for each other." She beamed.

I wasn't sure about that part.

"Esme and I have always discussed this since you were kids. I have no idea what took you so long!" She said, "We honestly can't wait till you get married!"

Marriage? Seriously?

"I think you should slow down a bit," I said.

"I'm not rushing you," she said, "And the way you guys took so long to date, of course, I know that the marriage is a long way to go!"

I wasn't sure if it was ever going to happen.

Nothing was the same ever since we had started dating. I couldn't point out what exactly was wrong, but something didn't feel... right! It's like I was realizing that we were totally different people!

"Bells, we're waiting for you," Masen said as I received a call from him after some time.

"I told you I don't feel like coming," I said.

Masen and some of our friends wanted to spend the Friday night at the Pub, but I had some other plans in mind - I wanted to stay at home alone and read a book.

"C'mon... Don't be a spoilsport. We all are waiting for you!" He said.

Suddenly I realized that we always had these differences, but they never mattered before, because he wouldn't bother me if I had refused to join him, and hence, there was never really a problem!

I sighed. Maybe dating him was really a bad idea!

Or maybe I was expecting too much. I mean, it's just been a month since we started dating.

I needed to give this a chance.

"Okay, please give me a few minutes to get ready," I said.

"Great!" He said excitedly.
