"Do you need any help?"
I received a text from Edward as I was trying to organize everything in my new apartment.
"Only if you promise not to be annoying."
I smiled as I sent him that.
"That's impossible! I hope you're able to manage everything on your own. Good luck!"
I chuckled as I read that.
"I need some help with the furniture set up if you're free. If you're busy, that's fine!"
"I'll be there shortly."
"So... Excited for the new journey?" He asked as he arrived after some time.
"Yup," I said, "Both excited and scared, to be honest. This is kind of one of the biggest risks I've taken from a career perspective. I mean, the opportunity was too good, but I hope I'm able to deliver."
"You will be," he smiled.
"I hope so," I crossed my fingers.
"By the way, do you have a suggestion for a good car dealer? I need to buy one soon," I said.
"Car?" He smiled, "What are you going to do with the car?"
"Yeah, I mean, my office is not too far from here, but I still want to get it. I want to explore the city and surrounding areas. I think it'd be good to get the car."
"That's not what I meant," he chuckled.
"Then what did you mean?" I asked.
"So... What you're trying to say is, you finally learned to drive?" He asked, "I mean, I wish you had done that before you decided to destroy my car."
I snorted, "Shut up!"
