HOPE
I Followed you here
So many years ago.
What was it that made me?
You never will really know.
It was your hazel eyes
That searched so far and near
For the truth that would both save us
Only as our souls were joined together
And not so very far apart.
It was your beautiful mind
Who's thoughts I sometimes already know.
Your ability to grasp an open minded world
Opened the doors to my scientific view.
It was your Non-Stop Drive
To search for something so little but so clear.
With all that we've lost.
We still are searching and hoping to be near.
It was your loving heart.
So full of Joy and at the same time dispair
Nights spent in your arms and with every kiss.
Made me love you more then words can say.
It makes me stay with you.
In nighttime and in day.
My love.. If you only knew
How much my small heart beats for you
It beats for our son.. who by faith
I believe we will see again.
I should tell you these things.
But again you need your rest.
That's why I watch you sleep..
Nestled in your warmth.
Listening to every breath
That escapes from your tender lips.
My love.. We will make it.
We will fight for our truth.
We will have faith in our lives
And we will believe in Love.
And most of all as you said tonight...
