I Believe
by WSJ
Definatly *not* as corny as the title suggests. LotR isn't mine. So there.

I believe.
I am one of the few
Who still do.
Every night my dreams are haunted,
The fact that they're gone is flaunted.
I believe.
They call to me, yet
I cannot follow where they have gone.
All that's left is a song.
I hear echoes of it on the wind.
I believe.
The land has grown filthy.
Nothing anymore is pure.
Is it because they are no more?
Because they have gone away?
I believe.
I wear it like a badge of courage,
I am proud I know the truth.
They still exist,
In the winds, the waves, the woods.
I believe.
But the golden woods are empty,
They sing their songs no more.
I may not be fully of their kind,
Yet I belong in their midst.
I believe.
I wake from another dream
Calling 'Take me back with you!'
Their magic keeps my heart beating.
Their songs keep me breathing.
I believe.
I have elven blood in me.
