Protecting Storm!
Prologue
Storm premonition!
On a high grassy hill stood five women. Below them was the Crystal palace the centre of Crystal Tokyo, behind them was a river (sorry if their isn't one near Tokyo!) its currents swift and its waters high and choppy. In the horizon the sky had darkened and a storm was brewing.
The first with short sandy hair, was staring unseeing into the horizon. The second with long sea green hair was staring as unseeing as her companion into the depths of the river. The third with strawberry locks tied back into a French braid stared into the multiple facets of the faintly glowing crystal that she held. The fourth her hair as dark as death itself looked almost vacantly into the heart of the Crystal Palace. While the fifth with hair as blue as the sky raised her head to that same thing, and closed her eyes, allowing the strong storm winds to rap around her body.
Suddenly the second spoke, her voice etched with worry. "The tides are turning...."
"The winds have shifted..." The first agreed.
"A new storm is brewing...." The fifth added, lowering her head and arms.
"The beginnings have changed...." The third warned, looking up from the facets of the crystal held in her hands.
A bright flash alerted them of the arrival of their timeless companion. Her dark green hair whipped around her tall form. "There are disturbances in time..." She told them.
All but the fourth turned to face her.
"Are you sure?" The first asked.
"Yes." Was her swift and only reply.
"If that is true something must be done." The third said.
"We have known for a long time that this would come..." Came the quiet observation from their almost silent companion.
"Indeed we have..." agreed the second. While the third and fifth merely stared in confusion at their companions.
"It is up to you two now." The first told them.
"In what way?" The fifth whispered.
But the others paid her quiet question no heed.
"We cannot go with you." The fourth explained. "Time will not allow it."
"I will help you." The sixth reassured.
"But now you must leave." The first informed them.
The third and fifth shared looks, then two bright flashes of black and silver engulfed the fifth, while green and gold surrounded the other. When the light had died down two senshi stood in their places.
"Follow me..." Their timeless sixth companion instructed them. Before she turned and a misty portal.
The two senshi spared confused glances at their remaining companions. Before they too, turned and went through the portal....
