Chapter 1 - The Fifteenth Birthday
It was 11:53 pm on July 30. Everybody in the Dursley house was asleep except Harry. He had been waiting for the clock to strike Midnight, becuase the next day was his birthday.
"I can't wait!" he murmured to himself. "Only 7 minutes until I'm 15."
TAP! TAP! TAP! Something was at the window. It was Hedwig and Ron's owl Pig. "Come in you guys," Harry whispered opening the window. "But be quiet, the Dursleys are still sleeping."First he took the letter from Pig.
Dear Harry,
Happy 15 birthday. Can you wait until term starts! I can't. I bet you want to get away from the Dursleys. Well see you at Hogwarts.

Harry wrote down a thank you note and tied it to Pig.
